Changes to the Devices Endpoint

We have made a change to the Get all Devices endpoint in Partner API v2. The spaceName and floorNumber fields are no longer returned for each device.

This is a breaking change. If your integration reads either field from this endpoint, you will need to make a small update.

What has changed​

Each device in the GET /devices response now returns:

  • deviceUuid
  • buildingUuid
  • spaceUuid
  • deviceModel
  • deviceIdentifier

spaceName and floorNumber have been removed. No other fields are affected, and no other endpoint has changed.

What you need to do​

Every device still returns spaceUuid and buildingUuid, so you can resolve the space and building as before. Use spaceUuid to look the space up via Get all Spaces, which continues to return both spaceName and floorNumber.
